Aquest fluid, generalment aigua o una barreja d&#8217; aigua i glicol, circula per l&#8217; interior dels panells o tubs, absorbint la calor solar. <\/p><p><u>Un cop el fluid ha estat escalfat, es dirigeix cap a un intercanviador de calor, on transfereix la seva energia t\u00e8rmica a un altre fluid, com aigua o aire. Aquest fluid calent es pot utilitzar per a diferents usos, com la producci\u00f3 d&#8217; aigua calenta sanit\u00e0ria, calefacci\u00f3 d&#8217; espais o fins i tot per generar energia el\u00e8ctrica. <\/u><\/p><p>En el cas de la producci\u00f3 d&#8217; aigua calenta sanit\u00e0ria, el fluid calent s&#8217; emmagatzema en un dip\u00f2sit, llest per ser utilitzat a la llar o en instal.lacions comercials.  <b>En aplicacions de calefacci\u00f3, el fluid calent es distribueix a trav\u00e9s d&#8217; un sistema de canonades que calfa l&#8217; aire o l&#8217; aigua dels radiadors o s\u00f2l radiant.<\/b><\/p><p>\u00c9s important destacar que l&#8217;efici\u00e8ncia dels sistemes solars t\u00e8rmics <u>dep\u00e8n de factors com la ubicaci\u00f3 geogr\u00e0fica, la inclinaci\u00f3 i orientaci\u00f3 dels col\u00b7lectors, i les condicions clim\u00e0tiques<\/u>.
